Molly O’Toole & Associates, Ltd. has extensive project experience with FEMA's Flood Insurance Rate Maps (FIRMs) as well as the new Digital Flood Insurance Rate Maps (DFIRMs).

FEMA's Map Modernization Program to develop fully digital floodplain maps nationwide is part of an initiative to raise hazard awareness using state-of-the-art technology, engineering and digital mapping standards in a format that will be easier to use. The new format for these maps use the latest Geographic Information System (GIS) technology to insure that data incorporated in the maps is up to date and accurate.

MO&A has worked closely with numerous state and federal agencies on flood control issues, and on floodplain mapping efforts.
